Article: 2017 Christmas Party

December 15, 2017

The GMC Corvette Set annual Christmas Party was held at Canterbury Village on Dec. 2, 2017. Forty-four members and their spouses attended the event and enjoyed the excellent buffet dinner, music by the "George Sinnet Jazz Trio", and a "white elephant" gift giving/stealing that concluded the night. Tom Hoenle gave a short speech as the departing Club President and Eric Senft gave an introductory speech as the incoming President. Everyone was surprised by the brief appearance of Captain Corvette.

Each member was asked to bring an unwrapped toy which would be donated to "Toys for Tots". As evidenced by one of the pictures in the photo gallery, quite a few youngsters will be happy. Thanks to Tom and Marcia Westerlund for delivering the toys to a local collection spot.
