The upcoming 2025 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is the fastest and most extreme road-going version of America's sports car ever produced. With over 1,000 hp and an insane aero kit that provides a huge amount of downforce, it will be a true force of nature when it finally goes into production sometime in 2025.

Performance doesn't necessarily translate into coolness though, and there is a case to be made why the original ZR-1 from the early 1970s is the cooler of the two. HotCars reckons this argument carries some weight, and this is why.
