Kennedy is raising her first Leader Dog puppy, a black lab, named Drake. Kennedy is a third generation puppy raiser. Her mom, Aunt and Grandma have all raised puppies for Leader Dogs. In total, the family has raised 54 puppies including Drake. Kennedy has wanted to raise a puppy for several years and has been very active in attending Leader Dog fund raisers and puppy meetings with her Grandma to show her parents that she was ready to take on the challenge. She is working hard to make sure that Drake is prepared to be a Leader Dog!
